Good morning! Good nutrition of course is important to your health, but especially important for patients having surgery. This is my typical breakfast: low fat Greek yogurt with extra scoop of protein powder, touch of milk to dissolve the protein and a handful of fruit. This is low fat, low carb, very high protein. Estimate about 55 grams of protein. That's half of my daily minimum. Plus a high protein meal keeps you feeling full longer through the day.
